Discover Our Toddler Room
In our Play-based and Montessori Toddler room, we strive to work with your child so he/she can grow in all levels of their development at their own pace. We focus on socio-emotional, language and cognitive, sensory, dramatic play and Montessori time. The room is designed in way so as to direct the child to an area of their interest, whether they feel like working on puzzles, blocks, playing with puppets or in the kitchen. They are introduced to language sounds in preparation for earlier reading. We emphasize language development because we believe strongly that children at this age need to communicate their feelings and ideas.

Language
- To use words to express their needs and feelings
- To follow two and three step directions

Self Help Skills
- To sit at a table during snack/meal times
- Using spoons and cups without help
- To put away their plates and cups
- To put on their jackets and hats and remove them
- To put away their toys
Cognitive
- To recognize and use the names of all the teachers and children in the group
- To repeat and memorize songs and rhymes we sing at school
- To respond to simple what, who, where and why questions
- To increase their attention span and listen
Emotional
- To learn the concept of taking turns and personal space
- To begin to recognize and accept the feelings of other children
Freshly made, on-site meals and snacks
- Establishing healthy eating habits early!
Nutrition is key to healthy physical development, especially for young children. Our snack and lunch menu has been designed by a dietitian with your child’s developmental needs in mind.
Prepared fresh on-site daily, our food can be catered to meet many dietary needs (vegetarian and halal options available, no beef or pork served) and allergy requirements.
Our menu ensures the food we serve is not only nutritious, but delicious. Children love to eat here!
Provide your toddler a warm, nurturing environment
A daily report is given on your child’s diet, diaper changes, nap time and what they did and how they felt for the day. You will be in constant communication with your child’s educator!
